Mathew joined Kollman & Saucier, P.A. as an Associate in January 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Mathew worked for a civil litigation firm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, as a litigation associate and, most recently, for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, where he worked to ensure those who honorably served our country received all benefits to which they were entitled.

Before and during law school, Mathew worked as an HR professional in the transportation, education, and hospital setting. While working with attorneys and general counsel on a range of issues in conjunction with his role in HR, Mathew knew he wanted to heighten his understanding of the legal side of employment and labor management and returned to school in 2014 to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law as a part-time night student while also working full-time. As a law student, Mathew participated in the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law’s Trial Advocacy Competition and served on the schools Honor Board, tasked with investigating and adjudicating student infractions of the Honor Code. Mathew graduated from law school in 2018 and was admitted to practice in Maryland the same year.

In his personal life, Mathew enjoys golfing, being on the water, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
