Anthony P. Palaigos has a varied practice that includes real estate law, corporate, partnerships, limited liability companies, business, estates and litigation, trial as well as appellate work.  He graduated from American University in 1972, and he received his law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1977.

Mr. Palaigos joined the Firm in 2001. Prior to that, he was a partner in a major Baltimore law firm where he had practiced over 20 years.

Mr. Palaigos has represented clients in all aspects of real estate law  including but not limited to  negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts of sale, negotiating, drafting and reviewing leases, financing and refinancing of loans secured by real estate, property development issues, zoning matters, and litigation of disputes.

Mr. Palaigos serves as general  counsel to many corporations and other business entities, including partnerships and limited liability companies in Maryland and also represents clients in business practice matters, such as formation of partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, the sale and purchase of businesses, securing of business loans, and the preparation of business-related documents.  He has also assisted many small business entities in securing certification from the Maryland Department of Transportation as Minority Business Enterprises and as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

His estate practice includes the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and trust agreements.

He has taught real estate principles courses at the University of Baltimore and at Loyola College. He is also  licensed for title insurance referrals. Mr. Palaigos has served on various non-profit Boards of Trustees at the Caroline Center, the Trinity School and the Jess Carson Foundation.

Mr. Palaigos was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland and resides with his spouse, Linda in Catonsville, Maryland. If you were to ask Mr.Palaigos what he is most proud of, outside of being a successful lawyer, he would tell you his wife Linda, his daughter, Ashley, a civilian lawyer for the Department of Navy and her husband Trey, a naval officer, his son Jason, an emergency room veterinarian and his spouse Brittany, a speech pathologist, and the lasting relationships he enjoys with his friends and clients.
